A yearlong coaching partnership for principals who want to grow teachers, strengthen teams, improve student outcomes, and lead the work without carrying it all alone.

The principalship is one of the most important roles in education...and one of the least supported in real, practical ways. Certification programs rarely prepare leaders for the full reality of the job, and district mentors often care deeply but are managing their own campuses too.

 

Principal Leadership Coaching gives you a trusted thought partner, a clear leadership plan, practical systems, and ongoing accountability so you can move from reacting to leading with purpose.

What the Coaching Partnership Includes

Leadership Assessment & Discovery
We begin by identifying your strengths, leadership pressure points, campus priorities, and growth opportunities. Depending on the scope, this may include a 360 evaluation, professional skills assessment, and stakeholder feedback. Your DSMS proposal already used a 360 evaluation and professional skills assessment as part of the front-loaded coaching process.

Strategic Leadership Planning
We'll collaborate to customize a leadership plan connected to your goals, campus needs, and school improvement priorities. The DSMS full-year model included goal setting, a schedule for accountability, and a Strategic Leadership Plan tailored to the principal’s needs and school objectives.

Onsite Coaching & Learning Walks
Onsite days may include coaching sessions, principal shadowing, learning walks, PLC observation, teacher feedback support, leadership team work, and progress monitoring. The DSMS proposal specifically included onsite coaching sessions, learning walks, goal tracking, and progress reporting.

Virtual Coaching & Accountability
Between onsite visits, virtual coaching keeps the work moving. These sessions help you address immediate concerns, track progress, refine leadership strategies, and stay focused on your goals.

Behind-the-Scenes Implementation Support
Async support can be used for reviewing documents, designing tools, preparing agendas, building templates, analyzing feedback, or creating resources that help you implement your leadership plan.
